The Japanese Covered Bridge

The Japanese bridge is iconic to Hoi An and is an ornate and detailed structure. Visit the bridge in the day to enjoy its craftsmanship and at night to view its impressive lighting.

Local Markets

Hoi An has an indoor market hall where locals sell produce, clothing and souvenirs in an indoor hall. There are also the night markets which are vibrant and bustling with vendors selling a lot of street food, clothing and souvenirs.

Old House of Tan Ky

The Old House of Tan Ky was built in 1741 and has been home to 7 generations of the Le family. Whilst it's not the oldest house in Hoi An, it was the first to be acknowledged by the Ministry of Culture and Information in 1985. The house welcomes tourists and features ancient architecture, traditional and intricate decor and is a must-see for guests.

The Old House of Phung Hung

Another ancient and well-preserved home, The Old House of Phung Hung is a short walk from the Japanese bridge and was built in 1780. The name means 'prosper' as the first owner hoped it would bring him success. The house was originally used to sell spices such as cinnamon, pepper, salt as well as silk, chinaware and glassware. It showcases traditional architecture and design which gives you a feel for the history of Hoi An.

Hoi An is well known for it's tailoring, every street in the Old Town features shops with plush fabrics and locals willing to help you find the perfect outfit.
